About Quirky Translators

Hi, I’m Arlo Bennett. I built this site because I was tired of using translator tools that were either completely empty or completely useless.

The Problem With Existing Translators

Every translator site I found fell into one of two traps. The first trap is the empty box. You paste your text, hit translate, and get a result with zero context. No explanation of how the dialect works. No examples. No reason to trust the output.

The second trap is the academic wall of text. Some sites treat modern slang like a dead language. They write “History and Origins” sections for Gen Z slang. They ask “Is it still spoken?” about Yoda. That is not helpful. It is performance art pretending to be education.

Neither approach actually helps someone who wants to understand the dialect they are translating into.

What I Built Instead

Quirky Translators covers 17 different dialects across five categories: Historical and Classic, Formal and Elevated, British and Royal, Internet and Gen Z Slang, and Fictional and Fun. Each page follows the same structure because it works.

The tool sits at the top. The actual content sits below it. Every page explains how the dialect works, shows real examples, breaks down the grammar or vocabulary in tables, and answers the questions people actually search for. I researched what competitors were missing and built those sections specifically. The goal is to give you enough context that you understand what the tool is doing before you use it.

The Rules

  • Completely free. No accounts. No limits. No paywall hiding the good features behind a signup form.
  • No data stored. Your text goes to the AI to get processed and then it is gone. I do not log it, save it, or look at it.
  • Educational first. Every page teaches you something about the dialect before you touch the translator. The tool is the feature. The content is the foundation.

The Privacy Promise

When you paste text into any translator on this site, it is sent to an AI model to generate your result. That text is processed in real time and is not stored, logged, sold, or used to train any model. I have no interest in your input. I only care that the tool works and that your privacy is respected. If you want to read the full legal version of this, the Privacy Policy covers it in detail.
